Vickie is the Business Relations Director at the Communities Foundation of Texas. In this role, she works to connect companies of various sizes with CFT’s portfolio of services. She is responsible for developing and engaging companies and business leaders to become CFT donors, fund holders and members of the corporate engagement network. Vickie recently left Charter Communications, where she served as the Director of Government & Community Strategy. Vickie was responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive community strategy for Charter in Texas. Vickie worked with internal and external stakeholders on the rollout of the company’s low-cost broadband program. She managed community investment partnerships across the state in order to enhance Charter’s visibility in the community, positioning Charter as a technology leader.
Prior to the merger of Charter and Time Warner Cable, Vickie spent 7 years at Time Warner Cable working in community investment. In her previous role, she created partnerships with the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, Girls Inc., Dallas Film Society and a number of other local non-profit organizations. Prior to joining Time Warner Cable, she held multiple positions with privately-held, Cox Communications. Vickie received a master’s degree in public affairs from American University in Washington, D.C. Vickie is a graduate of Leadership Dallas and also serves as the chair of the board of directors for the Leadership Dallas Alumni Association. Vickie is also a certified Yoga instructor who teaches at Lifetime Athletic.
